Israeli soldiers abducted, on Saturday at dawn, five Palestinians including a teenage boy and three former political prisoners, in Bethlehem governorate, south of the occupied Palestinian capital, Jerusalem, in the West Bank.
Media sources said the soldiers invaded Beit Fajjar town, south of Bethlehem, searched homes, and abducted a former political prisoner, identified as Eyad Sami Taqatqa, in addition to summoning his brother for interrogation.
The sources added that dozens of soldiers also invaded the Deheishe refugee camp, south of Bethlehem, before storming and ransacking many homes, and abducted four Palestinians.
The abducted Palestinians have been identified as Rani Abu Aker, 20, Ranim Mohammad Ja’fari, 17, in addition to two former political prisoners, Hasan Mohammad Zaghari, 26, and Ashraf Mohammad Sajdiyya.
